Chia Seed Pudding

  • ¼ cup chia seeds

  • 1 cup cow milk or coconut milk or almond milk or orange juice

  • ¼ cup sugar or 2 tablespoons honey/maple syrup

  • (optional) 2 tablespoons cacao powder to make it chocolate flavored

  • (optional) ¼ cup chocolate chips

Suggestion: serve with frozen or fresh sliced fruit/berries on top


  1. Mix the chia seeds, sugar, and cacao powder (if using)

  2. Add the liquid (milk or juice)

  3. Stir until well-mixed

  4. Place into a covered bowl for 3 hours, or until chia seeds have absorbed all the liquid. If possible, stir the chia seed pudding after about 1.5 hours.

  5. Enjoy!

Suggestion: You can spoon it into several jars or tableware at the beginning of the week to eat on-the-go at school/work throughout the week

Storage Indication: Store in fridge, stays fresh for more than a week
