Desired quantity of mozzarella cheese or fresh queso
Desired number of tomatoes
Oil to taste
Salt to taste
Dried oregano or fresh basil leaves to taste
Cut the tomatoes into slices. I recommend slices that are about 1/2 inch thick.
Cut your desired number of slices of mozzarella cheese. I recommend slices that are about 1/2 inches thick.
Add the mozzarella slices on top of the tomato slices
Drizzle a little bit of oil on top, sprinkle on salt and dried oregano/basil. If using fresh basil leaves, chop them into smaller pieces.
Suggestion: You can also make a mozzarella-cheese sandwich with this recipe! Add tomatoes, mozzarella, olive oil, and basil/oregano between bread for a delicious and fresh sandwich.
