  • Desired quantity of mozzarella cheese or fresh queso

  • Desired number of tomatoes

  • Oil to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Dried oregano or fresh basil leaves to taste


  1. Cut the tomatoes into slices. I recommend slices that are about 1/2 inch thick.

  2. Cut your desired number of slices of mozzarella cheese. I recommend slices that are about 1/2 inches thick.

  3. Add the mozzarella slices on top of the tomato slices

  4. Drizzle a little bit of oil on top, sprinkle on salt and dried oregano/basil. If using fresh basil leaves, chop them into smaller pieces.

  5. Enjoy!

Suggestion: You can also make a mozzarella-cheese sandwich with this recipe! Add tomatoes, mozzarella, olive oil, and basil/oregano between bread for a delicious and fresh sandwich.
